Raspberry Suite Challenge #16

This weeks challenge was to use cream, dark brown, kaft, and orange/gold for this weeks card.
Vintage cream was used for the card base and decorative boarder (Fiskars), patterned paper (K & Co), bow is Summer Sunrise, flourish is stamped in dark chocolate, used tea dye ink around the edges, used my sewing machine to stitch around the edges of the pattern paper, and added crystals (crystals are orange/gold color but hard to tell in the picture).

Raspberry Suite Challenge #15

Love these challenges, and love this weeks colors. Used Polka Dot Basics II with versa mark and clear embossing powder on vintage cream card stock. Colored the flower from In Bloom with Copics (don't remember which ones I used, sorry), boarder punches are from EK Success, and finished the card off with a Hibiscus Burst bow. Did not stamp a sentiment this time around, as I like to have a few cards in my arsenal for last minute occasions, and can stamp the appropriate sentiment for the occasion at the time.
Hope everyone has a great week, and thanks for looking!

Raspberry Suite Challenge #8

Didn't think I would have time to make a card for this weeks challenge. Found time and here is what I came up with.

All supplies are from Papertrey Ink.

Self Portrait

My daughter has only once colored on the walls with her crayons, she was 2 at the time. She's nearly 5 now, and has learned to write, and use pencils and pens. The other day someone left a pen out, and she found it. I walked into to our living room to find this on our sofa...... When I asked who she had drawn, she said "it's me mommy". Not only did she draw this picture, but there was other doodles and scribbles all over the arm of the sofa. I was angry that she had drawn on our sofa, but I could hardly contain myself to stop from laughing. Good thing rubbing alcohol did the trick and got the ink out, the sofa is as good as new.

Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #4

Dawn McVey http://www.dawnmcvey.typepad.com/ posted another great color challenge. I love these colors! My fathers birthday is this Sunday, and these colors can easily be used for a masculine card. I couldn't help myself, always have to add a little bling.... added stickles and crystals which didn't photograph very well. The card didn't turn our as masculine as I had imagined, but dad will love it anyway. Close up Cardstock - Dark Chocolate, White - PTI, - Baja Breeze SU!
